  1. Junior Fullstack Developer · Summant Technologies

    Fullstack development across two parallel workstreams: the Meta4 HR product and a custom project for an external client.

    • Meta4 (HR management software): data modeling and database architecture, design of objects, methods and the communication between them. Development of modules and tools within the framework (backend). Employee self-service web portal built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, exposing Meta4 modules and connecting through JSP with its proprietary library.
    • Custom project (outside the framework): WhatsApp messaging automation integrated with AI: a webhook that receives user messages and workers that process them, call the AI and send the reply. Built with a Flask + Python backend and a Django frontend for the client to manage the bot. MySQL database modeling and a secure REST API with authentication, JWT, user management and mailing. Webhook security with HMAC signatures in the headers. Deployed with Docker, managing development (local) and production (Ubuntu server) environments.

Web app to track maintenance, fuel refills, insurance and technical inspection (VTV) for one or several vehicles. Frontend only, no custom server: sign in with a Google account and data is stored in Cloud Firestore, synced across all of each user's devices. Data can also be exported/imported as a JSON file.

No users or sign-up required: everything is stored in the device's local storage (localStorage). Inspired by WhatsApp's design for an intuitive experience.

Ecommerce Backend Project

E-commerce app developed as the final project of the Node Backend Development course. Built with Node.js, Express and MongoDB, with testing using Mocha and Chai, and Handlebars for the frontend. Implements user authentication and authorization with JWT and Passport. Users can register, browse a product list, get a cart and complete purchases, receiving a purchase ticket notification via Nodemailer. It also includes admin roles for product CRUD, payment gateways, image and document uploads with Multer, and a chat with Socket.io. It also provides a REST API structured in DAO layers to manage data efficiently.
